Once a ticket has been through QA and passed, it will then be ready for CAB. ITSO will assign the ticket to the relevant stakeholders and the email will pull through as below;
All of the relevant information will display for you to review. If you click "see full request details", you will be able to see the ticket number, information and whether or not it has been approved.
Once the information has been reviewed, you can either "approve" or "decline" and add a note if needed for the Change Manager.
The information you've submitted cannot be updated afterwards so please ensure you've reviewed all of the information.
The Change Manager will receive the responses straight into the ticket and approval will be granted if 51% of the Change Approval Board has approved it. Once the threshold has been hit, it will not allow you to go in and approve if you haven't already.
Final confirmation will then be sent confirming date to publish and downtime.
Please note that there is a 2 day time limit on all CAB emails, anything not responded to within that time frame will be resent dependent on whether we hit the 51% approval rate.
CAB approval emails are sent every Wednesday and approval confirmation sent to stakeholders every Friday.
